A conventional yet inspirational film. I was truly expecting a lot less from the film but in the end, I actually liked it, mainly because the ignorant me did not know the true story so it caught me off-guard. I read that when Secretariat died, they performed an autopsy and his heart was 2 and half times bigger than a normal horse's heart should be. Overacting and the dream-killing villain are obviously part of the film, after all, it is a Disney movie. One of the few (very few) good cheesy movies to watch.
